I work as a freelance motion picture color finishing editor (also called colorist, color timer, or color grader).
I enhance cinematography in the post-production editorial process and prepare films, television programs, music videos, and commercials for proper artistic and technical display in cinema, broadcast, or web release.
Filmmakers may contract my services in any of the following ways.
MY HOME OFFICES IN SAN FRANCISCO OR SANTA BARBARA
Filmmakers can hire me to finish color at one of my home offices.
Soaring rents in Northern California have devastated the ranks of post production studios.
My business model offers home offices in San Francisco and Santa Barbara and acting as my own producer I am able to dramatically cut the costs of color grading for the independent filmmaker.
In an era of shrinking budgets, I aim to be the filmmaker’s advocate. I am a dedicated ally of the independent cinema.
I offer further discounts for non-profit organizations, social issue projects, students, and emerging filmmakers.
My San Francisco office is wheel chair accessible and I can provide accessible parking.
Both my home offices are equipped with calibrated broadcast monitors, video signal scopes, DaVinci Resolve color enhancement software, and an editing station with Resolve and Premiere Pro.
I make house calls to offices with sufficient professional equipment. I can be hired to work for you at a studio of your preference.
I can receive your project on a removable hard drive or by web delivery and work with filmmakers outside my Northern California and Santa Barbara locations.
